Delete your account & data— InnerSelf
InnerSelf: Diary with Lock uses Google Sign-In. We store your account email and referral information in Firebase. Use this page to request deletion.
1. Data we store when you sign in
- Google account email (via Google Sign-In / Firebase Authentication)
- Referral data in Firebase (e.g. referral code, referral count, reward eligibility tied to your account)
- Diary entries — stored primarily on your device; optional Google Drive backup is in your own Drive account
2. Delete in the app (fastest)
If your app version includes account deletion: open InnerSelf → Profile → Settings → Delete account. That removes your Firebase sign-in and server-side referral profile immediately.
To remove diary text on your phone: clear app storage in Android settings or uninstall the app.
3. Request deletion on the web
Submit the form below with the same Google email you use in InnerSelf. We process requests within 30 days and delete:
- Firebase Authentication user for that email
- Firestore profile and referral records linked to your account
Prefer email? Write to [email protected] with your Google account email.
4. What we keep (if any)
- Anonymised analytics that cannot identify you (per Firebase/Google policies)
- Records we must keep for legal or fraud-prevention reasons (briefly, where required)
- Data in your personal Google Drive backup — you delete that in Google Drive
